Never go to Low book sales

Such a *** experience. I went in to see if you still had a truck I saw online, and one of your VERY PUSHY sale reps said i had to fill out a credit ap first to see if i was "Qualified enough to buy it"... Really?! I ended up waiting 25 mins for you guys to dicker around and I never was able to even drive it. Now I get 4-7 calls a day form one of employees even though i have begged to be removed from your call list. I'm sure They'll'll just delete this so customers don't know how shady you are...... I will never let ANYONE I know deal with you.

Lowbooksales screwed me

Low Book Sales was one of the worst experiences of my life! To start they took money out of my account for a down payment before all of the paperwork was even completed then i was called an *** and a *** by the staff at Low Book Sales! I did not expect to get treated the way i was when i walked into there establishment, we do have the car now and we have had nothing but problems with it between the a/c not working and the tail lights that still dont work and then the fact that we are over 5 grand upside down in this car. I dont want a thing to do with this company i feel that i was not treated as a HUMAN should be treated and the fact that they allow your sales men to use obscenitys on the phone to customers and the fact that paperwork is being processed when they didnt have all of the information on hand yet not even a copy of my drivers licence, makes me think you could be anybody theif an identity and go to Low Book Sales and get a car. i would never shop with them again and because nothing was done to resolve the issues i had i am very mad and disgruntled at this point

They are liars and scam artists

I had the most horrible experience buying a car here. I first went in to just look around and of course from that point the pressure was on. I did find a car that I liked and they proceeded to tell me my credit was sub-par but don't worry they have a bank that they can get you financed through. What they failed to mention is they own the bank. So like they do to everyone they sit you down and tell you that the bank requires you to get a service contract to be in a better position with getting the loan. People do not understand that this is illegal and a dealership cannot course you into getting a loan by telling you that you have to have a service contract. So of course being an *** I bought the car and two days later I had buyers remorse and went in to take advantage of their 7 day exchange policy. But see this is another trap by them because i wanted a cheaper car to lower my payment but they told me that "the bank" (their bank) would most likely not fund a cheaper car because it will most likely be too old and if they did fund the deal it would be a shorter term loan for "the banks" protection. meaning that my payment would stay the same. So I went home mad of course seeing how these crooks work and the next day I got a call from the dealership saying that they needed the last $100 dollars of my down payment or they would come repo the car and thtat they have a tracking device on it which they lied about again to try and scare me and put me down as the consumer. This was on the third day of owning the vehicle, the dealership was acting like a bank and treated me like I had wronged them in some way. It is to my understanding that once the vehicle is off the lot that the dealership has no real interest in the car and the interest is more in the bank since it is their asset but thats not how these guys work. And also be careful when buying a car and they say they can get you a better deal on the service contract because all they really do is down-grade the contract to one that covers nothing but repairs that you could do at home they arent really getting you a better deal in other words. Anyways about two weeks later I called "the bank" (their bank) to make my payment early and to my surprise they had no idea who I was. Another way they broke the law, the buyer is suppose to be notified within seven days if they have been funded or not. So I called the dealership and of course I got the run around and eventually got frustrated and gave up on dealing with them. They have a very fine system set up to screw the buyer over if they are even remotely educated in the purchase process. I would never go back to this place ever again and hope that these guys pay someday for all their wrong doings.

I forgot to add this to the article. The vehicle that I purchased from them engine blew six months after I bought it.

Of course once I got it to their shop they said the warranty that I had purchased did not cover the engine and I was going to have to pay out of pocket/$4300.

When I went to pick up the vehicle they did not give me an itemized statement or anything showing where my money went just a receipt off quick books saying "New Engine". When I questioned them about where the new engine came from and all so I could get a warranty on that they just gave me the deer in the headlights look and told me they would have someone call me, which never happened.

I GOT SCREWED OVER

I bought my car at Low Book Sales about two years ago,its a 2003 Passat VW. They told me my car was never in an accident they even showed me the paper work, I wish I would've printed that. Once I got my car it immediately stared having problems the oil pressure light keept coming on and the Check Engine light. I took it to them about four times they said nothing was wrong with it. Shortly after that my car keept getting worse my oil pannel feel apart, My axels broke and my Antifreeze started leaking, also my struts are starting to go. The seat warmers are not working theres a crack in the Manifold and My o2 Sensors need to be replaced also when I turn right my break light comes on. So I had my cousin do some work on it he noticed immediately that my car was in an accident, He said everything in the Enging had been replaced so I went home and looked up the title on it and there it was it was in a head on collision, it wasn't totaled but still if I would've known it was in any kind of accident I would've never bought that car, because we had a bad experience with a car that was in one before. This place is horrible I'll make sure to let everyone know never to buy a car from this place, Because they are Liars and a fraud company. I am so stressed out with this, now I am in way over my head in this car. I tried to sell it and trade it in but I owe more then the car is worth

LOW BOOK SALES manipulative cheating liars

DON'T GO HERE!! they throw you into bad cars with high rates IS 29% HIGH ENOUGH FOR YOU?.tell you you're in a "high risk" lending bracket when your auto credit is fine and then they make you use the lender Prime Acceptance Corp which they own and jack the price way up because they can get away with it. Then they make you pay for a GPS transceiver to be installed and can turn your car off or make it beep whenever they fell like it>.Force you to buy a $2500 service contract with a $100 deductible. i took my car in because the water pump went out they said they replaced it and charged me for it through the service contract and they did nothing but run stop leak through it!! these people are scandalous cheats and liars.Learn more and join my cause @ http://www.causes.com/causes/592089-low-book-steals-help-stop-this-company-from-screwing-more-unsuspecting-consumers-over?recruiter_id=5811**** or on face book search causes and Low Book STEALS

I know a girl who worked there. She said that all the salesmen are ex-cons with felony records.

She knows because she has to file the paperwork.

She says no one should ever pay a car there. She was hard up for a job to help pay her tuition.

Waste of time, poor service

Stay away. Here's my experience. I was selling a car online and Low Book Sales called and said they had interest in buying my car. I told them there was no way they would pay what I was asking. The telemarketer just kept going to the script (I hate telemarketers that won't talk to you). So I called a guy at the dealership. I told him the same thing..."There's no way you guys can pay even close to what I'm asking. I know you need to make money, and I'm asking high blue book. I'm not in a hurry to sell it and I don't need the money. I own the car. I don't want to waste my time." He explained their biz model and said I would be surprised. Keep in mind I was asking $9,600 for the mini-van I own. I went to the dealership, sat for 30 minutes, and was offered $6,000. Yes, $6,000. I talked to the two managers. They explained that the telemarketers don't really know car values, blah, blah, blah. I get it. So don't waste my time. If a car owner tells you what they need, and you can't even come close, then tell the truth and say thanks anyway. When I talked to the manager, they had like 5 guys in the office. They all just sat there as I asked questions about why my time was wasted. "It's really tough right now in the car industry." I don't care, you wasted my time. "That's all we can offer." I know, you wasted my time. I gave your people two different opportunities to be real, tell the truth, etc. When I told them my problem, they all seemed to just sit there stunned. I wasn't yelling, but I was ticked off. I just wanted some honesty, some answers. They just wanted me to leave. They offered me a car detail for my time. I didn't accept. I wasn't complaining to get something free or for a better offer. I wanted them to recognize they had a *** business model, which is to not care about wasting people's time for the few that are desperate enough to take a bath on the price. That's the LOW book sales experience. It was definitely low. That's the kind of culture I think they operate on, and you can't trust that.

Low Book Sales are sleaze bag law breakers

They text message me on my cell phone (and it costs) even though I'm on Do Not Call registry, which is against federal law. There is no prior business relationship of any kind. They simply are lawless spammers. Do you like spammers? And you should *never* reply to a spammer to "stop" sending messages. That only invites more spam. Any business that will flagrantly break Federal Law just to advertise is a dishonest business. My advise is to not do business with these flagrant law breakers that will clearly do/say anything to get you to do business with them. You've been warned about Low Book Sales. Oh, and their web site is: http://lowbooksales.com

Low book sales was awesome. I had horrible credit, no one would even look at me to finance me.

Low book sales got me a car loan, the payment was a little bit higher then I wanted but with a credit score like mine what options do I have. This is definitly not the place to buy a vehicle if you have good credit.

Overall I was very pleased with Low Book Sales. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they did text message me quite a bit however, if you ask them to stop they will.

Low Book Sales sold me a lemon!!

I bought a 2001 Ford Escort from Low Book Sales in May, 2010. It is now November and so far I have had to replace the alternator, the transmission, the tension belt, fuses, gaskets, and the car dies on me randomly mid-drive. Since I drove off their lot on Monday, 11/15, the car has died on me 12 different times, 2 of which I was in the middle of an intersection!! Low book is not doing a thing about it. Their manager is highly unsympathetic and the customer service, to include the receptionist, SUCKS. I had no choice but to go to Low Book when buying a car because the old one was dying consistently and I didn't have more than $200 for a down payment. I now wish I had just taken the bus for a few months and then I could have saved up and gone to a more respectable, more honest place and wouldn't have been sold a lemon!!!

Offered me $6000 on a $10600 trade in.

These guys are just cheap. Do not ever trade in your car to them. Literally every dealer I went to offered me way more than they did. I seriously just waisted an hour of my time going to see those shmos. Anyway I have heard from quite a few people that these guys are shady. One of my friends bought a car from them and the transmission went out three months later. They didn't do a thing. Seriously any dealership you go to will treat you better than these guys will. These guys hold up to the stereotype of a used car salesman.

Untrustworthy, unethical and incompetent!

The salesperson put pressure on us to purchase the car immediately, we were sold a car with a broken radiator, and I got the runaround every time I tried to call Low Book Sales. I mentioned the radiator after I test-drove the car, and they promised to invest 1700 in repairs, including the radiator. They only put on new tires, a new muffler, and changed the oil. I brought it back because it still smelled like antifreeze and was told there was no problem. I took it to my mechanic and was told the radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced! They are unethical, incompetent, and I will NEVER go back! Do yourself a favor and go ANYwhere else!

Low Book Sales

At first they were treating me well. couple days ahead filled out credit app made appointment . day of appointment they started finding things wrong, kept saying will call back, but i had to call them. more the 4 or 5 times i got from them i will call you at a certain time, but as much as hour past and not call so i called , still kept getting run around./ if they would have been straight forward and said we can't help me then i would have felt ok with it , but the run around made me upset . I recommend that no one deals with them.
